When I moved from San Diego to Nashville, I did a Penske 1 way rental. $500 for a 16' van and a dolly for the car. It was the longest, slowest road trip of my life, but once over, I still had my shit, and I didn't have to spend money on all the little furniture items you take for granted until you have to buy them again...
