what about this;

we were actually created by real god. And some pervert god kidnaped us to make experiments on human behaviors.so he can make his own subjects. Guy called jesus, was a spy. Some of jewish people realized that and crucified him. Then that rouge god made up this story to cover the truths.(thats why its senseless) Our beloved god is still searching for us but he couldnt find a clue yet.
