For now, though, I can say that there is already a perfectly natural, everyday example of what happens when blood vessels are compromised for whatever reason and blood seeps into surrounding tissues. We call them bruises.
No, you've answered every question, and as you say, bruises deal with massive amounts of blood in the wrong place.
