only because we would live forever in spirit either worshiping and doing bidding for a dark lord, or being happy forcibly forever worshiping god on our knees.

Actually, we'll be living forever in our bodies on a recreated earth. That's the significance of the physical resurrection. We're not going to be kneeling on spiritual knees for eternity praising God. We'll be living our lives in our bodies and praising God as we live and do things.
