Right. Today the quasar is even farther than 13 billion light years from us. But:
If the light from a quasar took 13 billion years to reach us, then the quasar was 13 billion light years away from us 13 billion years ago.
If true, How is it we and the quasar were 13 billion light years apart 13 billion years ago in a 13 billion year old universe?
If false, why did it take light 13 billion years to reach us?
