While it would be true for one to say that science has been used to do destructive things, it is not the tool of method itself doing it, but the humans bastardizing the ethics of misusing the tool.

Science like anything else in life, should be subject to oversight as well as politics and religion.

But the tool of method itself is our best tool to settle the issue of competing claims.
