BAIT AND SWITCH.
Um so she does not have the right to defend herself? Amnesty International I do not think would have credibility if it took cases it did not investigate.
No bait and switch, if someone attempts to sexually assault you their success or failure to do so is no less traumatic, so yes, she is a victim.
Do you know the woman who inspired the movie "The Burning Bed"? She killed her abusive husband, when he was unarmed and asleep. She originally got convicted of murder. Why? Because back then society looked the other way and coddled abuse of women, and she had no way out and lived in fear every single day.
Now here you are defending a climate where women are not allowed to defend themselves against assault. FUCK YOU.
You make this about one case and in reality it is about Islam treating women like property. If someone tried to attack me, and I feared for my physical safety, damned fucking right I would stab you. Iran isn't allowing her that defense for the same reason in America for far too long, raping your wife and beating your wife or girlfriend, in America was considered a family issue and was blamed on the woman.
If they put her to death for this, they are sending a message to women, that they are second class, and they have no say in how men treat them.
