I became skeptical about the idea of heaven when I thought about all the people that are supposedly up there that I don't want to see. Imagine getting whisked up there and seeing people you disliked here and having to deal with them again. Then, being up there and watching butterflies and stuff (or whatever you do in heaven) and seeing your boss or somebody you can't stand rising up there. I would do a face palm and look for a back door.
"Er, uh, God: can you make me an angel or something so I can, like, GET OUT more?"
When the rapture happens I would be happy because a lot of people I can't stand would be gone. I have dibs on tele-vangelist Joel Osteen's 11 million dollar home. Knowing my luck, though, I'd show up to the door with a suitcase and he would still be there. D'OH!
"Didn't make it, huh Joel? Tough duty, man. Tough duty. Well, I guess I'll see ya later." [wink, wink]
you now that guy won't be raptured right.
if i don't first things first im making priorities i just hope the people in the power plants don't don't get raptured. because i'm going on a stealing spree.
