I'm not with you on your decision..
To be honest, Islam didn't survive on lies, though liars always survived by using it as a cover.
Iran's government is using it to control people ( being a religious government = god gave you authority), just like isis.

But god preserved the correct message in the Quran ; or so I believe..
OP, Aisha -mohammed's wife- went to war, and nobody said it was "against islam" and nobody said "she's a woman she should stay home".

I think if Aisha lived today ; she would've also went to war against many lying so called muslims.
Don't let the acts of liars affect your opinion about the faith.

I'm a muslim and I don't think this religion is being practiced for real by any government -even Saladin & the Abased and the Ummayads) ; non practiced Islam for real. All used it as a cover.
