The events were this:
Parker Tan made a prediction. He predicted if God exists then we should see copious amounts of energy radiated from that being(which is omnipresent so the radiation would be everywhere).
I then asked him if the newly discovered Dark Energy satisfied his prediction.
He then promptly tried to change the subject.
I won't let him wiggly out of it so easily and you should not help him wiggle out of it either. Let the discussion take its course and we will all see were it leads.
Parker made a prediction about some kind of radiation. You are the one suggesting it is dark energy.
I don't think dark energy would satisfy the god requirement, unless god never existed before the universe and then slowly got more powerful. The universe is dominated by dark energy now. It was not dominated by dark energy always.
The universe is dominated now by emergent complex structures....this was not so in the past. As emergent complexity took off....so did dark energy. I will use Parker Tan's prediction to make another prediction. Dark energy increases in direct proportion to an increase in emergent complexity.
