MSNBC now picking up the story.

Does anyone really believe Obama's claim here that the provisions of the health care law were debated extensively and fully transparent? Is Obama just trying to once again take advantage of the stupidity of the American public?
Actually Brian37, you are taking the exact same position of Gruber. You would rather have the law than not....and if lying and taking advantage of the stupidity of the American public will help you pass that law....that's perfectly okay.
Well its not okay.

Quote:“I think it’s fair to say there was not a provision in the health care law that was not extensively debated and was fully transparent – it was a tough debate,” Obama said.

It is absolutely sick that it took less than a week for congress to bail out the banks and car companies but over a year to come up with the Affordable Care Act, modeled after Mitt Romney's plan.
Stop selling your lies here. No other 1rst world westernized country allows to the same degree we do, corporate goons to control their markets. They are still open societies with political pluralism and they still allow for business. What they do not do is allow big business to have absolute power over their governments like we do here.
Health care is something all of us need. You stupidly support a system that criminalizes poverty that pads the profits of CEOS and shareholders. Now again, no one here is fooled by your shell game. You do not get to decide for the rest of us how our economy works.
Your right wing libertarian garbage will not sell here.
