I collect on-set film memorabilia. By that I meant items that either appeared in the film or that were used by the cast and crew during either actual filming or rehearsals. Some examples of what I have:
-Robert Duvall's ashtray from 'The Godfather'.
-Production notes and script additions from 'How Green Was My Valley'.
-One of the pairs of spectacles worn by Brian Keith in 'The Wind and The Lion'.
-One of Chico Marx's hats, signed.
The trouble with this kind of collecting is that these sorts of items are scooped up and held onto.
If anyone knows of an authenticated Charlie Chaplin cane going cheap, let me know...
