It's worse than that - Deuteronomy 22:28-29 says that women should be forced to marry their rapists. The punishment for rape.... marriage!!!
As for Lot, many Christians will say that just because the Bible records the event, it doesn't mean that God condones it. Yet, Lot was the very person god had deemed righteous enough to save--and that was immediately after he had offered his daughters up to gang rape.
