Who the hell is excusing the gang that wants to rape them? Of course thats a horrific thing, don't pretend like we'd ever agree with that, asshole.

As noted, one of your brethren referred to the desire of the gang for the men as merely wanting to have sex, but referred to the offering of the daughters as gang rape. Maybe you should just butt out if you're not going to follow along.

The point is that Lot offered up his own daughter to appease the mob. You can't honestly look on that and say it's a morally acceptable thing to do.

And I haven't. I noted that Lot's actions may be the reason that he was not considered righteous, and ended up in a cave in the mountains.

Also note that some cultures have very strict codes requiring protection of a guest. Did you see or read Lone Survivor?
