And THEN, this is what REALLY pissed me off, she started talking about her gay uncle saying, "I definitely don't agree with his lifestyle, but I love him anyway."
To avoid making a scene, I left it alone and didn't say anything.
Do you think I made the right decision? And if not, what could I have done or said?
I don't understand what was wrong with telling the resident that. Why wouldn't they bring that up? I understand that you disagree with your coworker's point of view, but that's no reason to deny that person the right to speak about it. You're exercising your right to speak your opinion here while at the same complaining about you're coworker doing the same thing.
