Yes, I do...going to have a gift exchange tonight with friends.
As an atheist, I view the whole season so much differently of course than when I was religious. But, I find a need to celebrate this season almost like a rebirth of sorts. Going into a new year, there is a newness to Christmas. I love giving, and the different smells and sights. The lights. Christmas is about light, and you don't need to worship a deity, to have a light in your heart and in your life.
Having said that, I'm attending church on Xmas Eve with my dad...who has asked me for a few years now, and I always say no...but this, year ...I have felt different about it all. I've never really been a hardline atheist, if that makes sense. Everyone is different about it, I guess.
