If he was he wouldn't have murdered all those people, since Christ commanded us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Use your head. Just saying that you're a christian doesn't make you a christian. Hitler used any means at his disposable to bring about his plan. Was Hitler better or worse than Stalin, the atheist?
Say what you wan't but yes that guy was a devout catholic. He did those things because he A felt like he was doing gods work and B he felt like the jews had to much power and was the reasoning why Germany's economy collapsed after WW1. So when you say he isn't a devout catholic you should really study ww1 and ww2 history. Hitler he was a catholic thinking he was doing gods work you can say he wasn't a true catholic but the guy was a true catholic.
Obviously, you've never read the bible to find out what Christ requires of his followers. You've also never looked into catholic doctrine. If you did, you would know that Hitler wasn't a devout catholic. Show me a statement from the bible or the catholic catechism that would allow a catholic to murder countless Jewish people - or any kind of people.

We all know how appealing theocracy looks.
Very good. I accept your list and I could give you a list of great christian leaders five times that size. So maybe we can agree not to make sweeping generalizations about how a christian or atheist would govern a nation.
