If it's not in my freezer I can go for a jog by myself stop at the grocery store buy some eat it in the way home. No one will suspect me and I can say, I don't know why I can't lose weight I'm following the diet plan woe is me.

Can you? Sure. We're talking probabilities. Most people are less likely to eat ice cream if they have to go out to a store and get it, than if it's already in the house.

The thing is that by existing on this earth you are exposed to temptation.

Yep, but there's likely more temptation in Las Vegas with the guys than with your wife at the beach.

Now, you'd probably argue that, even at the beach with the wife, he could go out for a jog, pick up a woman on the beach, bang her, and jog back. But again, we're talking probabilities.

•A man who wants to cheat will do so whether he goes to Vegas or not.

Not necessarily. There are some men who want to cheat, but are too afraid of being caught to go through with it. Going out of town could be enough to get them to act on the desire.

•A man who doesn't want to cheat but enjoys sex more than he respects the fidelity of his marriage maybe should avoid Vegas, but will probably wind himself up in a situation presenting the opportunity to cheat at some point anyways.

A man who doesn't want to cheat but really enjoys sex will probably have a lot of sex with his wife. I'm in this category myself.

•A man who has decided not that he doesn't want to cheat, but that he isn't going to cheat can go to Vegas or any other place he wants and not be any more likely to cheat than he was if he stayed at home.

I disagree. Booze and availability have ruined plenty of men who had decided that they weren't going to cheat.
