For survival, that organism requires some sort of fuel, right? Allow me to commit a tiny fallacy by using humans as an example - you eat a lot throughout your life, right? more than you weigh, right?
And, typically, the used fuel becomes waste material, right? Tons of it in one lifetime...
So, one single organism requires far, far, far more energy to keep itself running, than it uses evolving its species.
Multiply that by the millions and millions and billions of individuals required for evolution to manifest itself.
Of course, all that energy, ultimately, comes from the sun.... and that's all that's required to debunk the idiotic creationist mantra of evolution going against the 2nd law of thermodynamics.
