What makes you think God is selling freedom?
God is looking for servants/slaves, and so is satan. That is why I said 'free will' is a joke. It is a greek construct and not one made orginally in the bible.
God promises his yoke is easy and his burden light, (Again think of Joseph and his position as pharroah's slave, He was the #2 guy in all of egypt, and lived like pharroah did.) and well look at the world around you and see what sin brings. Famine, war, disease (Think all the worst parts of third world nations.)
