They weren't inspired to preach any such thing, in case you missed that. But it wouldn't matter if they were, in case you didn't know how reasonable thinking works.
(which is why it doesn't matter when other religions -do- get things right, half right, or arguably right - for the wrong reasons- same as your own, if and when your own does get it right...this not being one of those times)
