Catholics call on guidance from saints to find lost things and other things. All Christians tend to pray, what is this is not superstition.

All the claims theists make are in my view superstitious.
Religion at its heart, is formalize superstition.
Catholics.. Christians!?! (You seen the recent threads?). Atheist Catholics to a tee.
Praying superstitious? How so?
These seem to be errors of misunderstanding. Exactly my point about disbelief. You're more open to it.
I really hate this shit trying to treat Catholics as not being Christians. Their central God is the Christian god and their man/god is Jesus. Catholics are Christians, along with Mormons and Baptists and Pentecostals. Just because you don't like their version of book, and just because you don't like there sect of Christianity does not mean you do not have the same super heros you worship. Just like Sunnis and Shiites are both still Muslims.
Just like Ayn Rand was an atheist like me. I cant stand what she did to economics, but that does not change that she held no beliefs in a god. How you wish others would behave does not change that they share the same god you do. Just like I don't like what other atheists do, they are still atheists regardless.
And yes, praying is superstitious in any religion. Praying to a multiple armed elephant, or a fat guy, or a guy on a stick or a magic guy riding a carpet, at best all that does is calm you, but it doesn't summons invisible beings or old spirits to help you. It is nothing but talking to yourself.
