It's so sad that christianity breaks people down so badly that they really think they deserve the misery they have to endure in this world The idea of the consequences of a crime being inherited is ludicrous. By that logic, if a father goes to jail for a crime, so should all his children as well. Does that sound fair?
Ergo, God is not fair (or at least doesn't seemed concerned with it), as he created this situation.
