Now, here is my rant and blunt and blasphemous version of Sagan's "Pale Blue Dot speech.
No one is getting off this rock in mass, at least not right now. You look at a picture of the planet which was around long before even written language and our species current petty beefs, LOOK VERY CAREFULLY! No boarders, no labels, no politics when you merely look at the picture.
The rich, the poor, the the Muslim, Jew, Christian, Atheist, Hindu, Buddhist all die. The Preacher, Imam, Dali Lama, dictator and PM all die.
SO PLEASE HUMANITY how about we all grow the fuck up, accept our finite existence allow for the bitching and put our labels on the back burner!
I love my species ability to be compassionate, I simply hate humans hiding behind ANY label thinking they own a patent on morality.
I object to being labelled a 'human'.

"I think I use the term “radical” rather loosely, just for emphasis. If you describe yourself as “atheist,” some people will say, “Don’t you mean ‘agnostic’?” I have to reply that I really do mean atheist, I really do not believe that there is a god; in fact, I am convinced that there is not a god (a subtle difference). I see not a shred of evidence to suggest that there is one ... etc., etc. It’s easier to say that I am a radical atheist, just to signal that I really mean it, have thought about it a great deal, and that it’s an opinion I hold seriously." - Douglas Adams (and I echo the sentiment)
