LOL, that brings-up the teminology such as: agnostic, ignostic, apatheistic, agnostic-atheist, gnostic-Christian, etc.
You are probably right that "Christian agnostic" is a better description of me.I've seen two definitions of "Christian atheist". Zealous Christians malign other Christians for being "Christian atheists" (i.e. Christians who behave like they do not believe).
However, there are also people who identify themselves as "Christian atheists", because they agree with atheists that Christianity is fiction, but they find inspiration in Christian teachings ("love thy neighbor", etc.) I think that is what the OP means? It's more than simply pretending to be a Christian or respecting Christianity; it's trying to practice Christianity sincerely while being an atheist?
