That adjective isn't unimportant at all. Do you really not see the difference between "American" and "white"? Do you not believe there are Americans who have jobs and aren't white? Who's racist?
The difference is superlous. If it is wrong to protect jobs for white people at the expense of black people, it is wrong to protect jobs for Americans at the expense of the Chinese(or what ever country is underbidding us).
