This is the real point though, isn't it? Mississippi can proclaim any book to be the official state book, but my money is on it not being read by a significant percentage of the population. We already know that most self-proclaimed Christians don't understand the contents of the book, other than what they're told on Sunday.
Mississippi declaring an official state book is as useful as Kansas declaring an official state ocean.
