Yeah, everyone who has pulled back the curtain to see the wizard flailing the handles and shouting to
"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain" is a moron.
I remember walking to the show a couple times as a little kid with my 2 younger brothers to see the matinee of that movie, probably around 1954 (unthinkable to let kids do today).
Some things don't change though- same method different day.
Smoke/ mirrors and a big show.
All fake. But very popular.
