Now, if you want to be Biblical, the devil has no power over someone filled with the holy spirit (read christian).

And you know that he follows your specific interpretation of christianity... how? Thinking

Hell, I think it's pretty clear that what actually happened had something to do with his mental illness and not the devil, which of course provides a much more reasonable alternative solution to what you say above, in that he mistook his mental illness for demon possession, but that also doesn't say anything about his beliefs, which he explicitly stated to be christian. What's more likely, that he just doesn't interpret the bible the way you do, or was unaware of that verse, or that he wasn't a christian despite literally saying that he was. He's a christian: that doesn't necessarily entail that he's a good or well versed one. But the fact remains, the only proper evidence that we have points to him being a christian, and no amount of desperate grasping at straws by farting on about the bible, as though every christian follows it exactly the same way, is going to make that not be a thing.

Not that I don't find your complete unwillingness to just admit you were wrong extremely funny. You just keep on telling us how the guy believes exactly the opposite of what he said he believes. Rolleyes

Ditto here: I've both corrected others, and been corrected by them. It's all good, none of us are perfect; just a few weeks ago- if that- I got into a discussion on evolution with another atheist here where both of us got corrected by the other on some element of the discussion or another. It does happen.
