It is just goobers acting as goobers. How about Tennessee? Is that far enough from ground zero?

How about Lilburn? Is that far enough?
"My name is Paul Welch and I am the Auburn University chapter president of Youth for Western Civilization. I heard about the Mosques plan of expansion, and the Auburn chapter would like to aid in the protest. I am proud that the inhabitants of Lilburn have united to defend their way of life, against a force that opposes much of what their community stands for. Lilburn should be commended for their strong unity in defense of what threatens their culture and values.
Anyways, if anyone could get me in touch with someone who is leading the resistance against the Mosque expansion, or inform me of future protests, I would truly appreciate it. Our chapter would love to come voice our opposition to the Mosques expansion. Please email me at [email protected]

How about Gainsville Florida?
Responsible for Equality And Liberty (R.E.A.L.) condemns the ongoing religious intolerance in Florida, and we promote freedom of religion, freedom of worship, and freedom of conscience for all of our fellow human beings. We reject protests against houses of worship. A Christian group known for its religious intolerance protested an Islamic Center in Gainesville on July 5. The protesting group, Dove World Outreach Center, has allied in the past with the Westboro Baptist Church (WBC); Dove’s ally WBC praises terrorism against Christians and attacks on police officers. The WBC also protests Jewish synagogues.

How about California? Is that far enough for the Tea party hate machine?
http://beforeitsnews.com/story/112/059/T...ly_30.html
The Tea Party Patriots web site showed that this event was planned to be held on Friday July 30 by a group that calls itself the Southwest Riverside County (SWRC) Tea Party Citizens in Action group and that also plans to "pack the house" in a hearing to protest the planned Temecula mosque. See screen shot of Tea Party Patriots web site list of events (from web cache earlier this week). See also previous posting "California: Anti-Islam Tea Party Group Protests Temecula Mosque Plans." R.E.A.L. has previously reported on numerous other Tea Party leaders and organizations involved in mosque protests around the country, with no response from the national Tea Party leadership to our inquires for comment.
If the right wing tea party hate machine were just protesting one mosque, they would have a valid point. But since they are protesting mosques no matter where they are being built, they show themselves to be who we think they are....The American Taliban.
