So for argument sake, Imagine if Jesus (yes the real one) who frequently reveals himself to born-again Christians, tells you that you were doing it all wrong as in the bible is not his word.
Would you:
1) disregard this revelation as an hallucination?
2) ditch the bible?
3) consider this as Satan trying to deceive you by dressing up as Jesus?
You know what I find really crazy about this and other threads that start out, let's imagine, let's pretend, what if, atheist speak of Christians living a fairy tale and atheist are the ones who want to start up fairy tales. It's no wonder you all can't understand the Bible, you only want to play games with it.
When this happen it would certainly be (3). As Drich has stated this would be the anti-christ. In the scriptures we are guaranteed this can't happen to the true believers. Matthew 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible even the elect. Red letters to show Jesus said this.
Funny how you would bring up a Biblical truth, was this a test of our knowledge of scripture, did we pass or do you have something else to spring on us.
Isn't it interesting you would choose to bring this up so near the end of time, or did you choose, could it be that God used you.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
