Okay - see, I wanted to explore the artistic concept of the 'fourth wall' - making your art interact with the audience. So I painted a mural showing Ganesh (elephant headed god) capturing a storm demon and empowering the electrical socket on the wall, which I thought was nifty. He had four hands, one for the demon, one for the socket, one for his woo tools and the last for....the Hindu symbol of crossed lightning bolts, which happens to be a right facing swastika....and totally ruined by mural because nobody could see anything but that. None of my art* was well received - my favorite piece is HummingbirdandBat, from a Mayan tomb, meant to show altruism (hummingbirds are self-sacrifice, vampire bats are one of the few altruistic animal species). When an art dealer saw it, he loved it - it showed the 'dynamic tension between the african and asian communities'. I laughed beer through my nose.
* these were all wall spanning things largely inspired as much by 2CI as any real artistic ability, it was just for fun. Still, I highly recommend painting on your walls - it's totally different from hanging prints.
