Interesting, I know Mormonism teaches (or at least used to teach) this, but I've never known other Christians to believe this. Some people just suck, I guess.

Lots of christers have believed this tripe. My mother told me that black skin was the mark of Cain. She didn't use it to justify bigotry. To her it was more like a lesser "original sin."

People with very dark skin being cursed by gawd was also a justification used for slavery.

Yes, some people just suck, or at least have beliefs that suck.
