"If you don't believe in something, you'll fall for anything." - the implication apparently being that skepticism causes gullibility.

But...isn't that contradictory? How can you be skeptical and gullible at the same time? Oh yeah, these are dumb arguments.

I believe the original expression was, "If you don't STAND FOR something, you'll fall for anything." Then it was filtered through fundy-think and became absolutely meaningless.
