How can fundamentalists not wake up?

So how can you not wake up, GC? I could understand if you insulated yourself from all but your fundamentalist brethren, but you are very active here on AF. You seem as smart as most people here, but your beliefs make you look silly.

What would be the harm in simply admitting that the Bible is partly myth? There are lots of Christians that admit this. I guess there is a psychology that goes with being a fundamentalist - the few chosen ones against the corrupt world. There was a good essay about that psychology if I can find it.

If any of the Bible isn't true then none of it should be trusted, it's as simple as that. I have yet to find anything wrong with the scriptures and I have studied them with open eyes. I do not always agree with my fellow brothers and sisters, but when one of them say that part of the scriptures is myth, they're just wrong. Tell me why should I jump off a bridge just because it's what others do, or even if it's a popular thing to do, neither is healthy.
