No, my friend. We're not made in his image. He's made in the image of an archaic society where things like that were acceptable and just another day at the office. He's got his share of human like any other god that ever got created.
The difference is Al Capone was a criminal out for his own selfish gain, maiming and killing any and all who stood in his way. God created us unselfishly; He doesn't need us any more than we need pets. There is nothing any of us could ever do for Him - it is all a gift.
No one escapes justice. Everyone pays, either in this life or the next. But God is just, and once the last pennies have been paid, He redeems.
You are right about one thing, though. We aren't made into His image, at least not completely, yet. You must repent and be baptized by fire, either through faith in this life or by immersion in the lake of fire in the next life. THEN we will be made into His image.
