The Bible is literally the truth of God and the instruction of redemption and a free life in Christ.

I like the being instructed part where dashing little children against stones is mentioned. I suppose that fits in to redemption somehow and someone will be along shortly to explain it.
Hey dummy, consider reading the passage and see who is speaking before assigning blame, you are just showing how inept you are at arguing the scriptures. You probably don't know where to find the verses do you.

Since you believe the bible is the literal truth revealed by god and god's followers then - Would you do something terrible or deeply violent as long as the bible commanded you to do it?
The Bible is a guide to life not death, even hell is taught as a place to avoid, punishment for anyone could be avoided if one would look for the real life through the scriptures.
The Bible is a guide to living a life to serve and help others, not to hurt or destroy, scriptures aide in guiding one to a life that is humble and considerate to those around us. Few Christians ever attain these things to a high level and even those that do need God's grace to sustain them.
So, I need not worry about being instructed to be bad, simply because the Bible teaches the opposite.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
