How can fundamentalists not wake up?

If any part of it is wrong then how do you trust any of it, it's a book on spiritual life and the effect it should have on the physical life. It was never meant to be a history book, yes we can draw history from it, but that only means it references events in history, not establish it. I do examine the Bible every closely, I do because my life is to be patterned through it's teachings and I have no problem with that, at all.

The Old Testament stories are primarily essays about each of the Ten Commandments as set forth in Exodus 34:12-28. The stories show the application of the Ten Commandments in practice. Once you fully understand the real Ten Commandments you can easily associate the stories to one of them.

The whole purpose of the OT was to show the need for a redeemer, because no one was keeping the 10 Commandments, and to show who the redeemer was.
