Libertarianism is drawing a bunch of arbitrary lines defining what is claimed to be the "proper role of government" and then the defined roles are treated like a bunch of self-evident axioms.
"Police force to keep order"
Libertarianism: "Hmmm, rich people like that. GOOD!"
"Standing army"
Libertarianism: "Hmmmm, rich people like that too. GOOD!"

Libertarianism: "Hmmmm, rich people can get their own health care. BAD!"
