He gave you life and every day you've lived to this point. You use His creation daily and He doesn't begrudge you it. Besides you didn't create a thing, you just put parts together as someone taught you, God on the other hand needed no teacher.

My parents gave me life by having sex, and they have raised me ever since. I appreciate it, and do things for them in return. I do not worship them, and they have no right to my body.
People have built things without teachers all the time. That's how they discover new things. Yes we took what was already there, and made something else. Just like Yahweh did in Genesis, where he took a globe of water and made something out of it. Incidentally, I don't recall any verse that says let there be water.
