That's always been part of the rub for me. The idea of spending an eternity with (insert anything) would be hell. Sounds silly to a Christian, I know. I'm not even going to open that can of worms with you Drich But everything worth valuing is only appreciated by some measure of its finite nature. Our relationships with people, vacations, a good meal. I feel like I appreciate things much more when I realize how fortunate I am to have been able to experience it. After its come and gone, it's worth pursuing again only after I have lived without it. If I had to spend an eternity riding the most amazing wave I could possibly dream of, then I would know that there's no wave left to dream about. Its nice to imagine a scenario where we are reunited with loved ones, but sharing an eternity of the exact same experiences leaves nothing to share. It just sounds like a counterintuitive proposition from where I sit.

Nice line drop
Maybe, that's why the universe/creation is infinite... Infinite life, infinite stuff to explore/experience.
