I get a chuckle out of it because it simply highlights how the concept of god really only exists in each individual's mind. There is no definitive god, just a bunch of people filling in the gaps of a piss poor collection of Iron Age tales on their own.
But it seems like all he's trying to do is grind down our methods of investigation to something like "since everything and everyone, including literally the concept of "thinking", is biased and value based, and since we can't "know" anything, then everything is reduced to the same level, so my claims about the divine are as valid as your naturalistic ideas".
