Prayer was RIGHTFULLY taken out of school. Ever heard of the term Separation of Church and State? Perhaps it's time you started reading up on the US Constitution and the First Amendment. Idiot.

If you want your kids to pray in school, send them to a private school where you can pay for that shit. That crap doesn't belong in a public school. In THIS country, no one has a right to force anyone else to pray to a god they don't believe in or worship. If you have a problem with that and you think I'm wrong, then I guess you wouldn't mind if your child was forced to recite an Islamic prayer during the morning announcements eh?

If you want your kids to celebrate christian based holidays and have them close school for it, again, send them to a private school where you can pay for that right. I'll not have you force your magical bullshit religion on my kids, especially in a PUBLIC SCHOOL.

As far as stopping christian worship at the US Capital building... again, First Amendment rights stopped that and the Separation of Church and State. Despite what you might think, this country was NOT built on xian principles. I know it's a hard thing to accept, but try to.

To add to what Judi is saying, prayer was never actually removed from our schools. Religion was removed from the curriculum and school sanctioned prayer was tossed out. If kids want to pray before a test or say grace at lunch, that is still their right and no one is trying to take it away.
