"Those are the rules," as though that's any kind of answer to the issue. As though there have never been any immoral rules that needed repealing.
Just to illustrate how completely vapid and lacking in worth your position is, let me change a few words around:
"Sorry Isabel, Blacks are not a protected class in Indiana. The pizzeria doesn't have to serve gay people if they don't want too."
"Sorry Isabel, Women are not a protected class in Indiana. The pizzeria doesn't have to serve gay people if they don't want too."
"Sorry Isabel, Christians are not a protected class in Indiana. The pizzeria doesn't have to serve gay people if they don't want too."
But those are the rules, right? And rules must always be thoughtlessly followed, no matter their content!
