Not at all, Chad.
If people's unpopular opinions are hateful and discriminatory, they are subject to public dissent.
If I owned a business, guess what I am not going to do, ever? Tell anyone publicly that I am an atheist. People have the right to disagree with me and not patronize my place of business because they disagree. I wouldn't cry persecution if I were interviewed for any reason and said I think Christianity is a fairy tale, then people decided to slam my business because of it. That is absolutely my opinion, but in protecting my business I am always going to keep my personal opinions out of it for fear of alienating any customer base.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great
