Does Religion make you nice?

^Wow. No, linking me to studies still does not prove anything, Live_free. Because study is not applicable to people on an individual basis. Individuals can be nice regardless of their religion or lack thereof, and to say otherwise is to make enormous generalization out of the situation. Don't try to tell me what I do and do not comprehend; you come off as an arrogant prick when you do so, and you prove nothing either way.

I have met many atheists who were kind-hearted people, and I was even in a relationship with one. Likewise, I have met many theists and religious people who were very bigoted and mean-spirited. But the converse is true; I have met atheists who were close-minded fools and theists/religious peopl ewho were extremely warm and welcoming.

I will not read 'The God Delusion'; it is written by a conceited twat and has nothing to offer me. I will not read 'God is Not Great', as the same is true of Hitchens as of Dawkins. I don't need their books to 'understand or comprehend very well' that nice people will be nice, and mean people will be mean. Religion or lack thereof has nothing to do with it, and I find it personally insulting for you to insinuate that I somehow do not understand this; believe me, I do, because I have actual life experience with this, whereas all you can show me are studies and statistics.
