Should one approach dogmatists in the pulic space?

RE: Should one approach dogmatists in the pulic space?
Definitely. You have the right to the same soapbox they do. The key to success is knowing your audience. People are more likely to be influenced by emotional arguments rather than logical ones. If the gawdsheep makes good emotional arguments and you counter with logical arguments, you will lose. Don't go logical unless they go there first. Destroy their emotional argument.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
