Why is that a problem? I personally wouldn't have run him over. My view on this wouldn't inform my actions. But I think that one less maniac with a disregard for everyone elses saftey, is a good thing. You seem to see the world in black and white, but it really is just different shades of grey. The law is the law and we should follow it, the justice system is key to our civilisation but sometimes, shit happens that is beneficial to everyone, despite it being illegal.
