There is one true interpretation but only the addresses know it all, God and the firmly rooted in knowledge (Mohammad and his family).  That is why it's necessary to have left a chosen leader that knows it's interpretation, because, the Muslims and humans will not unite on one interpretation without him, and so the Mahdi is from the firmly rooted in knowledge that will unite the world on it's proper interpretation.

Till then everyone should do their best to follow what they know of the clear signs of Quran and not to stick to unclear of it.
