I'm not sure what snake you're talking about I know of no talking snake in scripture.

Umm, I seem to remember a talking serpent (snake?lizard?crocdile?) in Genesis which tempts Eve to eat from the Tree Of Knowledge of Good and Evil. (not an apple tree)
